The Coalition
The Reclaim Your Future campaign is organized by the Arizona Marijuana Expungement Coalition, and is funded by the State to help people expunge their marijuana-related public criminal records. Our Coalition is composed of community legal services and advocacy organizations from across the state.
When voters in Arizona passed Prop 207, the Smart and Safe Act, they not only legalized marijuana for adult recreational use, they also created the first expungement law in Arizona history!
Prop 207 designated a $4 million dollar fund to provide the public free and accessible legal services to aid in the expungement process. The fund was assigned to the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services (DHS), removing the management of the expungement process from the hands of the criminal punishment system.
DHS selected our Coalition to provide education, outreach, and legal assistance in preparing expungement petitions for people impacted by harsh marijauna laws.

Our Mission
Ensure that everyone eligible for expungement under Proposition 207:
- Is aware of the opportunity
- Understands the benefits of expungement
- Knows how to engage in the court process
- Has access to free legal services from Coalition partners to assist with the expungement process in courts throughout Arizona.
We are honored to work with communities across Arizona to expunge marijuana-related criminal records.
